The Toko Repair Candle 6mm is the perfect simple and easy option for those wanting to repair small base scratches or damage at home. The gouge or scratch should have any loose base material removed with a sharp utility knife and then lightly sand the damaged area. Next the area should be cleaned with base cleaner or wax remover and once dry the repair candle should be set alight and dripped into the gouge until level or higher than the base. Once cooled the area can be sanded and smoothed out with a steel scraper and fine grit sand paper until the base is flat.

*Available in Graphite or Transparent however care should be take when using transparent to avoid carbon build up resulting in discoloration of repair.
